Santander Private Banking in Jersey appoints new Head of Investment Products

Santander Private Banking in Jersey has announced the appointment of Paul Clifford to the newly created role of Head of Investment Products.

With a strong track record in the development and delivery of investments for the private banking sector, Paul will draw on experience which covers not just the design and delivery of new private banking services, but also investment management and portfolio performance monitoring. With Santander Private Banking having announced its intention to grow market share in both the local Jersey and UK resident non domicile private banking sector, Paul’s role will be to ensure appropriate products are available which will reflect and anticipate the requirements of these complex and demanding markets.

Previously with the Jersey subsidiary of FirstRand Group, Ashburton, where he was jointly responsible for establishing the company’s Jersey wealth management business, Paul is well placed to drive Santander Private Banking, as they seek to add to their existing product and fund portfolio.

Paul holds the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments diploma, the Investment Management Certificate, he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments and he also sits on the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments Jersey Committee in the role of Vice-President.
